Tun Mahathir Speaks at Bloggers Buff

Bloggers Buff 2008 will be held on from 9.00am – 7.00pm on 22nd November 2008 at the Putra World Trade Center (PWTC), Kuala Lumpur. There will two sessions to be held that day. The first session (9.00am -1.00pm) is themed "Blogging Realities' and it deals with current issues related to blogging eg. ethics, law, money-making and technology. The second session (2.00pm – 7.00pm) will be a networking session "So you want to blog?" targeted at young and new bloggers. Tun Dr Mahathir Mohammad will be giving the keynote address titled “Unity and Accountability in Blogging”.

Bloggers Buff is a conference-cum-networking event, where established speakers are invited to grace the event and share with us their experiences. It is a stepping stone to get Malaysian bloggers from various genres together in a day to open up their minds towards different aspects of blogging and to comment on issues that affect bloggers in the country.

Go Mobile is sponsoring Bloggers Buff 2008 which is being organized by MI Fest Management. The one-day event is endorsed by Empower Lives, All Blogs and Malaysian Indian Bloggers (MIB) and supported by Putera MIC. Traxx FM is the official radio station for the event.

This event is opened for about 100 Malaysian bloggers of all genres and race for each session on first-come-first-serve basis. Bloggers may choose to attend both sessions (RM60) or choose between morning (RM50) and afternoon (RM20) session.
