What made you join the blogging wagon?
It started from the time I blogged about my youth group and then it hit me that a blog is able to reach out to others therefore I decided to blog not just about my youth group but also a reflection of myself. It would be good when the time my hair turns grey to look back and remember my youth.
What is the most frequent thing that happens relating to your blog address?
Many people thought my surname was 'Lai'. Take a good look again at my blog domain and you'll understand why. Go figure!
When did you really begin blogging?
I started around the end of 2006.
I noticed that there is a lot of Quiksilver related logos on your blog. Are you a big fan?
*Laughs* This may sound bias, but I am actually the graphic artist for Quiksilver Malaysia. I deal mostly with their graphics, which I have the opportunity to implement it within my blog. The odd thing is, I genuinely love the brand despite working for them. I guess you could say I am proud of it.
What purpose does your blog serve in your life?
It is mostly an outlet for my creativity and also a place where I can share my development of skills and passion that includes all graphics, photography and videos.
What has been the best thing that you experienced from blogging?
Cliché as it may sound; meeting new people has been the best experience along with the other non-related perks that comes along with it.
Many people would agree that your blog posts are created very well with your own design, how do you constantly find your inspiration for new creation?
I mostly like to dabble with things I've never done before, although others may have done it, but it's something new to me mostly. I constantly keep myself busy with graphics and video sites to also generate ideas.
What do you think about blogging as a form of information media?
I think it's more efficient compared to traditional form of media. Blogging enables us to give real time information as we are able to blog from anywhere and at any time with an internet connection. People are always hungry for new information, so blogging is able to deliver that. Oh, and it's ink-free!
Do you see yourself blogging long-term?
Without a doubt!
How many pictures do you take on a normal basis at an event?
Roughly about 100 to 160. I know it sounds a lot, but when you get going, it is pretty little.
What is a good blog post to you?
Thought-provoking posts. Something to ponder upon when reading.
Does it take a lot of your time to maintain your blog?
Frankly it does, but when you are good at multitasking and balancing your time table, everything else falls into place for you. I enjoy blogging, so it isn't exactly a task for me.
