So who is Lim Jit Cheng?

Lim Jit Cheng is currently an Executive Director with Advisory at KPMG in Malaysia. Known around the world as one of the ‘Big Four’ audit firms, KPMG operates as an international network of member firms offering audit, tax and advisory services, working closely with clients to help them mitigate risks and grasp opportunities.

In addition to his professional leadership within KPMG, Jit leads several of the Malaysian member firm’s corporate social responsibility projects, particularly those held in collaboration with Reef Check Malaysia to physically monitor coral reef health through reef surveys and raise awareness on the importance of conserving the natural environment.

Jit leads KPMG’s annual Eco Dive – an ‘underwater audit’ on markers of coral reef health at representative sites at Pulau Tioman – and ‘Rainforest to Reef’ program – an outreach program conducted in collaboration with Reef Check Malaysia designed to educate the younger generation on the natural environment and its various ecosystems.

Passionate about nature, he is a certified eco diver and open water diver who believes in taking an active role in protecting Malaysia’s unique natural heritage.
