So who is Alfian Bin Abu Talib?

Alfian started his career in 1998 as a Marketing Engineer for Exxon Chemical Ltd. Subsequently, he was pursued a similar career with Commerce Dot Com Sdn Bhd in the implementation of the Malaysian Government’s e-procurement system.

In 2005 he joint a local Malaysian engineering SME outfit; Aerosystems Tactical Sdn Bhd, and head it’s business development division. In 2009 Alfian was introduced to TM and started his career with the group as the Assistant General Manager for Business Strategy SME. In 2010, he was promoted to General Manager for Business Strategy Channel Programme Management of the same division and recently resumed a new position as Chief Executive Officer of TM Info-Media Sdn Bhd (or commonly known as Yellowpages).

He holds a Master’s in Marketing Management from New York University and a Bachelor’s in Electronics Engineering from King’s College London. He has 14 years experience in strategy, market planning and operational improvements. During his years of working, he has able to developed a specialization in understanding the SME segment.
