Do you know someone who inspired you since you were a child? And somehow that has led to crafting your present day beliefs, success and value systems? Was it your parents? Could it have been your teacher? Or was it someone you read about in the news recently and you begin to follow his work and draw inspiration? Could it be a mentor that takes the time and effort to coach you in shaping your business acumen and adding more wisdom to your daily living?
There can be so many instances where we can draw inspiration. Every individual or team has a story to tell. Very often, these stories hold insights to the human potential, beliefs, values, and many lessons that often go unnoticed. These stories if made available, could serve as an example to many others across boundaries that may share similar challenges or situations. They may be able to draw insights and connect to these people who have lived the extraordinary.
The Live & Inspire Awards is about highlighting these grassroots inspiration. The intent behind it is to collate examples of these ordinary people who have lived the extraordinary. It will highlight their work and accomplishments, personal struggles, strategies they used in striving to be more. These are people who have probably lived without realizing that their sense of being has inspired change, and perhaps evolution in the human spirit. Live & Inspire is about honouring these people and organizations. It is about celebrating human potential. Here in Malaysia, we begin.
Anyone from the public to corporate bodies residing in Malaysia can be nominated. Age is no barrier. We are looking for ordinary individuals and organizations
VOIZE Youth ROCKS! Award brought to you by voize.myThis award focuses on youths who are making a difference within communities. The award is about bringing to the limelight the young that are making a difference and influencing the world around them. Regardless if it is a business plan that’s working, a blogger that writes and inspires, a boy scout or girl guide project that is about creating unity, a cancer patient who battled and came out victorious, a group of youths that have taken the initiative to care and love orphaned and marginalized kids, we welcome the nominations. In this category, the youth age group of 5 – 39 years old applies. |
Live & Inspire Humanitarian AwardThis award focuses on individuals from NGOs (or NGOs itself) working on a cause to make a difference to humanity and environment. It could be an individual who founded the cause, a volunteer that works diligently to bring awareness or the whole cause that is affecting the world at large. Ultimately, this award commends people who go beyond their ordinary living and stand for a cause to bring more and improve the well being of humanity and the environment. |
Live & Inspire Sports AwardThis award recognises individuals & teams contributing/have contributed to the development of sports. They could be sports veterans, who have set the standards with their achievements, people who have coached the finest in their field, associations that are creating environments conducive for talent development or current teams that are proving to be examples of the human potential in the sports arena. Malaysia has seen multiple talents to date. It is time we find more of them and duplicate the experiences and results. |
Live & Inspire Celebrity and Arts AwardCelebrities are some of the most influential figures in any population. Many have found their fame and gone on to do more for humanity as a whole. There are celebrities who use their talent to draw funding and limelight to causes in need. This award focuses on local celebrities making an impact with their work and talent, regardless if he or she is a singer, writer, actress, a model or beauty pageant, or a celebrated blogger. We would like to commend these people who use their fame for a cause bigger than themselves, and are affecting change |
Live & Inspire Team AwardThis award recognises profit making organizations that have invested, taking various steps and strategies to create more for the community and environment in Malaysia. Such organizations/companies must be incorporated in Malaysia. These could range from SMEs to captains of industries. If you think that your management is creating an impact at work place (within) and with society, take the time and make this known. |
